The Clydebuilt Coppersmith is the first in the series of limited edition Clydebuilt whiskies, blending Highland and Speyside single malts all matured in first fill Oloroso sherry casks. The whisky perfectly balances heather honey, sweet and spicy, sultanas and dark chocolate, offering a pleasing mouthfeel and rich flavour profile with a long, dry finish. Released in a collaboration between Ardgowan Distillery and master whisky maker Max McFarlane, it won the gold medal at the 2019 Scotch Whisky Awards.

Nose: Oozes opulence. A super-balance between sweet and spicy as a result of being wholly matured in first fill oloroso sherry casks.

Palate: Stunning cask maturation: heather honey, sultanas, and very rich dark chocolate.

Finish: Very smooth, long, dry finish-seems to want to take a holiday on your tastebuds.
