The Bladnoch Alinta is a smoky single malt from the bladnoch distillery, drawn from a combination of first-fill Bourbon casks and first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. With delicate floral scents of sweet oak, roasted almonds and heather honey, the copper coloured whisky evokes flavours of campfire smoke, almonds and white chocolate and a long finish with a sweet smoke. The name “Alinta” comes from the indigenous Australian word meaning fire and flames, aptly named for the reminiscence of campfire embers and sweet smoky peated spirit found in every sip.
